Our Church Family at Northway

Although our governor’s “shelter-in-place” order expired on  Thursday, April 30th, the “state of emergency” was not set to expire until May 13th, but the latter has now just recently been extended to June 12th.  Therefore, we are unable to know at this time when it might be feasible to re-open for congregational worship, but we will let you know as soon as we are able to confirm such plans.

A final reminder: As Mrs. Jerry (Kim) Stout nears completion of developing our first comprehensive data base program, she needs two pieces of information from all of us.  First, she needs our birthdays.  None of this will be shared with the public, of course, but she needs to enter these dates accurately, especially for our children, as it will be the primary way to note them.  Second, she needs the date of our wedding anniversary, if you were/are married, even if your mate has been deceased.  You may reach Kim by email ( ) or by phone/text (319-830-1146).

In closing, would you like to read about a promise from God’s Word dealing with “perfect peace,” not just “peace,” but “perfect peace”?  Well, here it is (ISAIAH 26:3): “You [God] will keep him/her in perfect peace, whose mind is fixed on You, because he/she trusts in You.”

Devotedly your pastor,

Bill Blanchard
