From Pastor Bill

From our very beginning, it has been our prayer that the members of Northway Community Church (NCC) would penetrate our community just as the early church members in Acts penetrated Jerusalem with their doctrine. And may we do so in the power of the Holy Spirit! But this will only be possible if Jesus Christ is allowed to have His absolute rule in the lives of our members.

With this in mind, let us not forget that the local church is not primarily a monarchy (dictated by the senior pastor), nor is it primarily an oligarchy (directed by a small group), nor is it primarily a democracy (guided simply by the popular vote of its members). Rather, NCC is to function primarily as a theocracy, guided by Jesus Christ as Lord through a proper biblical church structure.

We are off to a wonderful start. Who would have believed that NCC would be where she now is just five years from our beginning? And now, as we look to the future of breaking ground on our new campus in January, would you continue to pray for our congregation to flourish for the Lord to her maximum potential? Would you also pledge with me to walk in holiness? May we forever be spared of a church left largely to human devices and strategies alone, devoid of the power of Almighty God.
