I cannot remember a time when the problems of our world—all over the world—have caused people to be more unsettled than right now. In fact, we seem to be so overloaded with such a barrage of problems that we almost don’t know how to process or think through fully the challenges of the present. And here in this country the moral fiber to many of our institutions (government, media, education, and even many of our churches) is so awry that we almost don’t know whom we can trust anymore.

With this in mind, may I share with you some important predictions? 

• The Bible will still have the answers to our moral, financial, and spiritual dilemmas.
• Effectual prayer will still be our most powerful weapon on earth.
• The Holy Spirit will still move in power in the lives of godly people.
• God will still honor the praises of His people.
• There will still be anointed preaching by men of God whose personal lives will be consistent with the teachings of Scripture.
• There will still be the singing of legitimate praises to God.
• God will still pour out His blessings upon His people when their lives are fully devoted to Him.
• There will still be room at the cross.
• Jesus Christ will still love you no matter what.
• Jesus Christ will still save those who are far from home when they turn to Him in repentance.

Isn’t it great to remember who is ultimately in control and that “the Word of the Lord endures forever” (I Peter 1:25)?
